Season One
Pilot. The Small
Wonder saga continues in this new series. When a short circuit
causes her wedding to Big Blue to go awry, grown-up robot Vicki
heads to Seattle to work for an internet start-up. There, she meets
Sassy (Stacey Dash), the receptionist who soon learns the secrets
of her circuitry. Wallace Langham also stars as the acerbic and
vaguely gay Howard and C. Thomas Howell returns to the limelight
as the boss who may have a little crush on Vicki.
Beauty and the Bandwidth.
When the company's server crashes, it's up to Vicki (Katie Holmes)
to save the day. BUt, while she hardwires herself into the Internet,
Sassy (Stacey Dash) must work fast to keep Vicki's robotic roots
from the rest of the staff. Edie McClurg reprises her role from
the original series as Mrs. Brindle, the companies new head of HR.
101001111000101. It's
her first Christmas on her own and Vicki (Katie Holmes) is not in
the holiday spirit. Sassy (Stacey Dash) hopes a date to the office
Christmas party with the FedEx guy (Dustin Diamond) will cheer her
up, but things go horribly awry when he accidentally spills egg
nog on her mother board, allowing her to speak only in binary code.
Think Different. Vicki
(Katie Holmes) is panicked when Jed (C. Thomas Howell) suggests
moving the company computers to Macintosh, which is incompatible
with her operating system. Meanwhile, Sassy (Stacey Dash) and Howard
(Wallace Langham) compete for a company-paid trip to Amsterdam.
Robot Love. On the eve
of her 25th birthday, Vicki's (Katie Holmes) long-dormant sexuality
chip lurches into overdrive in the middle of the moring meeting.
As Sassy (Stacey Dash) struggles to keep the randy Vicky in check,
Howard (Wallace Langham) becomes suspicious when the out-of-control
android begins humping his leg.
Deep Sixed. Mrs. Brindle
(Edie McClurg) is visited by her daughter, Harriet (Jenna von Oÿ).
Once Harriet learns that Vicki (Katie Holmes) is in town, she decides
to stay and prove once and for all that there is something not right
with that girl. Howard (Wallace Langham) catches Harriet's eye,
making Sassy (Stacey Dash) surprisingly jealous. Meanwhile, Vicki's
habit of spending the morning meeting playing Tetris in her head
causes her to miss out on some vital information, and leaves her
vulnerable to Harriet's sneak attack.
Love XP. Vicki (Katie
Holmes) is shocked when her former fiancé (Big Blue) arrives
claiming to have been reprogrammed to love her, but his presence
threatens to expose her secret to the staff. Harriet (Jenna von
Oÿ). continues her quest to expose Vicki, but is sidetracked
by a mad crush on the oblivious Howard (Wallca Langham). Meanwhile,
Sassy (Stacey Dash) and Mrs. Brindle (Edie McClurg) clash over the
upkeep of the office fridge.
Batteries Not Included.
When Jed (C. Thomas Howell) sends the staff on an inspirational
retreat, Vicki (Katie Holmes) worries about being away from her
re-charger for full weekend. Meanwhile, Howard (Wallace Langham)
is unnerved by Harriet's (Jenna von Oÿ) constant attempts at
seduction. But it's up to Sassy (Stacey Dash) to save the day when
Vicki's batteries run out during a wacky team-building adventure
on the ropes course.
Data Processing. It's
androids everywhere when Brent Spiner guest stars as the company's
new accounting manager who has a few questions for Vicki (Katie
Holmes) about her conspicuous consumption of electric power. Meanwhile,
Sassy (Stacey Dash) and Howard (Wallace Langham) hilariously face
their ageism when one must fire the incompetent and ill-tempered
new assistant (Elaine Stritch).
Falling Bricks. While
the staff prepares for a big trade show in Las Vegas, Harriet (Jenna
von Oy) cooks up a plan to expose Vicki (Katie Holmes) once and
for all that involves a camera crew and the world champion of Tetris
(Guest Star Chirs Kattan). Meanwhile, Sassy (Stacey Dash) falls
for the new IT guy (Eddie Cahill), but he may have more in common
with Vicki than anyone imagined.
Vegas, Part One. As everyone
converges on Vegas for the Trade Show, Jake (Guest Star Eddie Cahill)
and Vicki (Katie Holmes) grow closer. A night of rum and keno leads
to a shocking commitment between Harriet (Jenna von Oy) and Howard
(Wallace Langham). And when Jed (C. Thomas Howell) loses the company
in a poker game to guest star Stephen Root, Sassy (Stacey Dash)
and Vicki work fast to turn the tables on the gambler.
Vegas, Part Two. After
booking themselves the Honeymoon Suite, Vicki (Katie Holmes) and
Jake (Eddie Cahill) try to take their relationship to the next lever
but Jake's proprietary UNIX-based system may not be compatible with
Vicki's older, PASCAL programming. Vicki soon finds out that the
one person who can write the necessary patch is the person she least
wants to talk to about sex: her father. Lance Henricksen guests
as Ted Lawson.
Season Two
Reboot. Heartbroken after
the system crash that wiped out her boyfriend’s memory, Vicki
returns to Seattle swearing off love. But when Sassy and Howard’s
fling fails to stay in Vegas, Vicki must help them hide it from
an exceedingly jealous Harriet. The episode also resolves whether
Jed really did lose the company in a high-stakes poker game.
