Episode Guide

Season One

Pilot. After a night spent carousing in Las Vegas, Prince Charlie (Charlie Hunnam) wakes up married to Lola (Charo), a spicy showgirl twice his age. As he tries to get out of the marriage, Lola makes herself at home in Buckingham Palace, rankling the Queen of England (Maggie Smith).

Hot Tamales. After the Palace lawyers declare the marriage valid, Charlie (Charlie Hunnam) accepts his fate by sharing a bottle of gin with the Prime Minister (Hugh Laurie). Meanwhile, Lola (Charo) tries to appeal to the Queen by making tamales for the family, but hilarity ensues when she loses the crown jewels in the masa. Queen: Maggie Smith.

The Little People. Lola (Charo)introduces the Queen (Maggie Smith)to the art of slumming as they disguise themselves and visit a shopping mall. But, when a tabloid reporter (Guest Star Simon Cowell) finds then trying on pumps at Thom McCan, it’s up to Prince Charlie (Charlie Hunnam) to save them.

The Boy Is Mine. Lola (Charo) plans a romantic evening for her and Charlie (Charlie Hunnam), but the plan goes awry when her niece, a sexy Latina superstar (Guest Star Shakira) arrives and sets her sights on the Prince. Lola enlists the Queen’s (Maggie Smith) help is getting rid of the interloper. A shimmy-off commences.

Lola Cromwell. As the Palace prepares for the Queen's Jubilee, Charlie must let his childhood sweetheart, the Princess of Tonga (Tangi Miller) down easy. After reading an article in Hello, the Queen decides her ermine cape is not politically correct. And Lola accidentally disbands Parliament. Prime Minister: Hugh Laurie

The Fleet's In. When the Palace throws a gala for the Royal Navy, Lola runs into an old flame, Rear Admiral Pickering (James Fox). Will the possibility of losing her cause the Prince (Charlie Hunnam) to see her in a new light? Meanwhile, the Queen (Maggie Smith) nearly causes an international incident when she stumbles into an internet chatroom for senior citizen sex kittens.

Kind Hearts and Coronas. Mexico invades Buckingham Palace as Lola's entire family visits. While the Queen (Maggie Smith) bonds with Mama (Armonio Benedito) over their mutual love of soap operas, Charlie must contend with Lola's angry brother and nephew (Miguel Sandoval and Luis Guzman). Lupe Ontiveros and Latin pop star Shakira also guest.

Buddy Lembeck Is Missing. When Charlie's (Charlie Hunnam) former babysitter (Scott Baio) drops by for a visit, Lola (Charo) is immediately smitten. While a jealous Charlie looks on, Charles and Lola see the sights of London while searching for his missing friend, Buddy. Josie Davis and Nicole Eggert guest as American diplomats who vie for Charlie's affections. Meanwhile, The Queen (Maggie Smith) pays a visit to her psychic, Madame Baklava (Ellen Travolta).

The Interview. Lola (Charo) prepares for her first sit-down interview with Hello! Magazine, but forces in the Palace conspire to make her look like a cheap floozy, only after the Prince's money. Lola's actions make the Prince see her in a new light. Meanwhile, the Queen (Maggie Smith) has a top-secret coffee date with the Prime Minister's father (Michael Gambon) which goes terribly awry when he puts the moves on Her Majesty.

Muy Familia. As the Palace hosts the Christmas Jubilee, The Queen (Maggie Smith) welcomes her two crabby sisters (Judy Dench and Joan Plowright) and their various lapdogs for the holiday. Charlie (Charlie Hunnam) confronts his deadbeat father (James Wilby) and his future stepmother (Serena Scott-Thomas) when they treat Lola (Charo) poorly. But, when she holds her own against the snooty couple, Charlie realizes he hopes to find his wife under the mistletoe.

Palace Intrigue. Still reeling from their passionate kiss under the mistletoe, The Prince (Charlie Hunnam) and Lola (Charo) avoid each other and devote themselves to other projects. Lola tries to book acts for a Concert at Prince Albert Hall but runs afoul of the Queen (Maggie SMith) when she suggests an all thrash-metal set. Charlie must settle a dispute between a cross-dressing butler (Eddie Izzard) and a cranky senior scullery maid (Gemma Jones). Rob Zombie also guests as himself.

A Royal Pain. Dame Judi Dench returns as Princess Jane in this spirited outing. The Queen's (Maggie Smith) younger sister has taken up with a young man (Christian Bale) 30 years her junior and nobody is happy about it except for Lola (Charo). Meanwhile, Charlie's (Charlie Humman) father (James Wilby) pressures him about producing an heir to the throne, much to Lola's delight.

Everybody Says I Love You. Prince Charlie (Charlie Hunnam) tries to find the right time to tell Lola (Charo) how he really feels about her. But a case of mistaken identity finds him confessing his love to a baffled Prime Minister (Hugh Laurie) and sends Lola into the arms of a Palace Guard (Jeremy Northam). Meanwhile, the Queen (Maggie Smith) has a disastrous first date with a Spanish Duke (Paul Scofield).

The Lola Incident. While touring a Royal Naval submarine, Lola accidentally starts a war with Portugal. As the government deals with the snafu, The Queen (Maggie Smith) sets her eye on the new Foreign Secretary (Derek Jacobi). And his attaché (Clive Owen) sets his sights on Lola, much to a lovesick Charlie's dismay. Will Charlie be able to confess his love to his wife before she finds comfort in the arms of another man?

Whatever Lola Wants. Seeing Lola (Charo) falling in love with Damien (Clive Owen) causes Charlie (Charlie Hunnam) to ponder setting his bride free, even though it may mean losing his chance to be King. The Queen (Maggie Smith) becomes so preoccupied with her new paramour (Derek Jacobi) she forgets to sign an important proclamation leading to the possible secession of Scotland. But when Lola begins to see signs of jealousy in Charlie, she begins to wonder if her husband may really love her after all.

Watch Your Head. With her boyfriend away on business, Charlie (Charlie Hunnam) decides to make a shocking proposal to Lola (Charo): If she loves Damien, he will set her free. But, if she agrees to marry him again, he promises to love her for real. Unfortunately, Lola is struck on the head by a falling suit of armor and forgets any of it happened. Will Charlie see it as an omen or will Lola remember everything before she leaves on a romantic cruise with Damien (Clive Owen).

Queen of the Kitchen. Still not remembering Charlie's profession of love, Lola (Charo) packs for a two-week cruise with Damien (Clive Owen). But, before she can leave she must help the Queen (Maggie Smith) prepare a romantic meal for Dennis (Derek Jacobi) without the help of servants. While her Highness turns the Palace kitchen into a floury mess, the Prince (Charlie Hunnam) sets a plan in motion to retake Lola's heart on the High Seas.

The Love Ship, Part One. Lola (Charo) runs into some old friends as she and Damien (Clive Owen) set sail on the Pacific Princess. While Lola charms the chips captain (Guest Star Gavin McLeod), Damien's eyes wander toward the comely Activities Director (Lauren Tewes). Stowaway Prince Charlie (Charlie Hunnam) seeks romantic advice from the jive-talking bartender (Ted Lange). Little does Charlie know that his old nemesis the tabloid reporter (Simon Cowell) is on board, too, and he knows a secret about Charlie and Lola's nuptials that could change everything. Concludes next week.

The Love Ship, Part Two. In the one-hour season finale, Charlie (Charlie Hunnam) finally reveals Damien's (Clive Owen) womanizing ways, aided by the Captain's daughter (Jill Whelan). With the help of the ship's Purser (Fred Grandy), The Prince prepares a romantic luau on the Lido deck in order to ask Lola to marry him. But, when a shady reporter (Simon Cowell) shows a videotape of their original ceremony, Charlie may change his mind. Will Lola and Charlie finally find true happiness? Will the Queen finally accept Lola as a true Princess? Will Gopher finally profess his love to Julie? Don’t miss the shocking cliff-hanger of an ending.

Season Two

From Here to Maternity. After their ship-bound wedding ceremony, Prince Charlie and Lola Charlie Hunnam and Charo)are surprised to find themselves washed ashore on a deserted island. After finally consumating their marriage in the crashing surf, the two flag down a passing oil tanker. But when the ship’s captain (Conchatta Ferrell) fails to believe their identities, the prince finds himself swabbing the deck while Lola entertains the lonely, all-female crew. Meanwhile, back at the Palace. The Queen (Maggie Smith) prepares for the worst, summoning Charlie’s brother Philip (Guest star Daniel Radcliffe) home from school. But when he shows up and tells Her Majesty and the staff to start referring to him as P-Dawg, all Hell breaks loose. In the end, the family bands together to rescue Charlie and Lola from a life at sea. But once home, Lola has a big surprise for Charlie.
