Episode Guide Season One Week One. In the first episode of this reality series, we meet Derek, a handsome and successful internet millionaire who is unlucky in love. He moves into a house with sixteen other eligible bachelors and, over the next six weeks, must winnow the group down to the one man he wants to spend the rest of his life with. The group of Suitors includes a male model named Devon, three bartenders named Tim, Steve, a financial analyst with a harelip and Nuktu, a handsome Eskimo. Derek seems taken with Ben, a blond Human Resources Recruiter, but spends much of his time in the hot tub with swim instructor Matthew, professional dancer Enrique and two of the Tims. Week Two. A wrench is thrown into the game when each of the twelve remaining suitors (Ben, Enrique, Steve, Matthew, Nuktu, Jordan, Devon, Billy, Dominic, Tim, Tim and Tim) is allowed to choose one of the other men for a one-on-one date, leaving Derek alone in the hottub with Nuktu. Billy, a financial analyst from Chicago, makes a love connection with Dominic, a bartender/model from Los Angeles. Human Resources Recruiter Ben is shocked when he walks into the dining room and finds a menage-a-Tim going on. Devon, a waiter from Baltimore, breaks down in tears when Derek doesn't choose him for a hot air balloon ride and Enrique and Steve almost come to blows over the last tube of Clinique Skin Refresher for Men. Week Three. With the Tims and Steve gone, the house is a calmer place for Derek and the eight remaining suitors. A game of I Never leads to a stunning declaration of virginity by go-go dancer Enrique. Devon has another crying jag about the lack of attention Derek pays him. Swim instructor Matthew tells Derek he loves him in the Jacuzzi and gets only tongue in return. And Nuktu teaches Ben a thing or two about Eskimo kisses. Derek struggles when it comes time to cut the group in half. Week Four. It's down to four as Enrique, Ben, Matthew and Nuktu compete for a yachting expedition with Derek by playing a marathon session of the card game Suck and Blow. Meanwhile, Derek's best friend Mindy arrives to meet the contestants but instead makes a last ditch effort to win Derek for herself. During some downtime, Nuktu and Enrique clash over the correct method for doing Pilates. Week Five. Matthew, Ben and Nuktu reel from Enrique's stunning, profanity-laden dismissal Derek frets over the impending arrival of his divorced parents. Swim instructor Matthew offends Derek's NASCAR-loving stepfather with an offhand comment about boning Jeff Gordon. Eskimo fitness instructor Nuktu makes a good impression on Derek's stepmother, earning the ire of his Mother. And while in the sauna, human resources recruiter Ben makes a shocking discovery about Derek's parents. Week Six. As Ben and Nuktu await Derek's decision, The Confirmed Bachelor reels from his parents recent reconciliation. But, in what Producers are calling a shocking twist, Derek's two suitors may be more interested in each other than in him, leading to a cliff-side ceremony fraught with romance and pathos. The finale is immediately followed by a Where Are They Now special which reveals an odd relationship between the three Tim's and features much sobbing by the ousted Enrique. Host: Martha Quinn. |
